Allison Marie Designs was born in May of 2019 as a decorating project when my husband and I started our first home. My husband and I had bare walls and I had a desire to create something with a happy feel to fill them. My inspiration started when I purchased a few vintage pressed seaweed pieces at the Marburger show in Round Top, Texas. I left the antique show inspired. I did research on the art of pressed flowers and found there was an entire community of pressed floral artists. I was anxious to join in on the fun. So, with a goal to spread joy and create something nice for our home, I started working on a small Texas made of pressed flowers. I texted a picture to a friend and she asked, "How much is it?" I thought to myself, a little side hustle wouldn't be the worst idea. So, I sold it to her! I sold to friends and attended a few local art shows. My heart was on fire. I loved creating something that made people smile. I now make 2-4 custom pieces a month and raise my beautiful daughter. I am so thankful for this creative outlet. I hope each piece you see brings joy to your day and helps make your house a home.

I started offering small works made from pressed flowers. However, as time went on, I have developed a reputation that has grown my small, still growing side hustle into a business! I have big dreams and realistic goals. Lets create something beautiful for you and your home!
